A smile…

Even though newborn smiles aren’t considered “real,” they are still incredibly adorable. This shot might be my favorite from the session and it was one of those unplanned-in-between shots.

This sweet baby girl had an amazing nursery…every little detail had been taken care of and every little pink piece of clothing had been perfectly placed. I loved her room!

And here she is wearing a sweet little hat from Baby Twist Knits.

Thank you, David and Lauren, for sharing your sweet girl with me!

Kasen

This is little Kasen at 10 days old. He was such a sweet boy for us.

Sara, I hope these will tide you over until I can get the rest edited!!

I tried to catch a yawn and this was the end of it. I just love his scrunched up little face:

Isn’t this hat adorable? It’s from Baby Twist Knits.

Thanks, Phillip and Sara, for choosing me to take Kasen’s newborn pictures. I had so much fun with him!

The beautiful Alex – Hockaday Senior 2010-2011

I had the absolute pleasure photography Alex’s senior photos! She is one of our Senior Reps at Hockaday in Dallas. We shot a few in-studio and then walked around and found some super cool spots around Addison Circle (perfect for cool senior shots if you ask me)!

And when I asked her if she would get in the water and splash me, she didn’t hesitate! How cool is that?

Thanks again Lea and Alex for a fun and fantastic session! And we are looking for some Senior Reps throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Please contact us via the contact link at the top for more details!

Oh. Boy.

Meet Zade. This little guy has four big sisters.  A few years ago, I took his sister’s newborn pictures and we focused on pink and even a little bling if I remember correctly. As you can imagine, there was absolutely no pink involved during Zade’s shoot!

I have photographed this family several times over the past few years and get to know them a little better each time. So thank you, “M” family, for being such sweet and fun clients. I always look forward to working with you.  And, as promised, here is a sneak peek before I head out of town for the week:

Another birthday bash!

My baby girl turned two! For her party I worked with the incredible Kim with The TomKat Studio again AND the talented Kim with Sweeties by Kim. These ladies add so much to my parties–thanks Kim & Kim!

For Alexa’s party, I wanted to use pink, orange and yellow’s and incorporate flowers. After Kim designed a fun invitation, I took inspiration from it and everything else fell into place.

Here is the birthday girl eating an Oreo pop that Kim sent. She’s obsessed with them! Her headband is from Only Poppy Rose and her outfit is Tralala.

The invitation that started it all:

I came across Cakes by Danielle and I’m thrilled that I did. She took one look at the invitation and knew right away what to create. Isn’t that cake perfect?

I showed the invitation to Kim and she sent the most amazing Oreos to coordinate. AND she sent Alexa’s name made out of chocolate covered in flowers!! It was gorgeous!

More Oreos!

I found the cutest digital papers from Designs by Cupcake Cutiees and used them to make borders for the banner I created, signs I made, stickers and even a lunch box for the birthday girl.

And finally, the flowers!

Invitations: The TomKat Studio
Oreo Pops & chocolate letters: Sweeties by Kim
Cake: Cakes by Danielle
Headband: Only Poppy Rose
Birthday girl outfit: Tralala
Digital papers: Designs by Cupcake Cutiees
